Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit adtreeservices.com or ask us about tree care services, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
The website adtreeservices.com (the "Site") is owned and operated by A&D Tree Services LLC ("A&D Tree Services," "we," "us," or "our"), a tree care company based in Miami, Florida.
This policy applies to information collected through the Site and through the phone, email, text message, and social media channels we use to respond to you. By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address.
- Job details: the service you need, your property address or location, tree type and size, photos or descriptions you share, and anything else you include in your message.
- Preferences: whether you want to receive newsletters, promotions, or text messages.
- Payment information: if and when online payments are offered on the Site, the details needed to complete a payment (see "Payments" below).
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, and the website that referred you.
- Approximate location: a general location (such as city or region) derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and analytics identifiers: if you accept analytics on our cookie banner, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data that help us understand how the Site is used (see "Cookies & analytics").
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your questions and estimate requests, and schedule and perform tree care work;
- communicate with you about your request, appointments, and service, including by phone, email, and text message;
- send you promotions, offers, newsletters, and other marketing messages, where permitted by law or with your consent;
- process payments and prevent fraud, once online payments are available;
- store and manage customer records in a customer relationship management (CRM) system;
- if you accept analytics cookies, analyze Site traffic and performance so we can improve the Site and our services; and
- comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, safety, and property of our customers, our crews, and others.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it. Analytics runs only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Decline," or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics and no analytics cookies are set.
What we use
- Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) — reports on traffic and behavior, such as the pages you view, how you found the Site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. It sets cookies on your device, such as
_gaand_ga_*, that identify your browser and your visits. Analytics data is kept in our Google Analytics account for no longer than 14 months. - Google Signals — a Google Analytics feature that, if you are signed in to a Google account with ad personalization turned on, lets Google associate your visits across your devices and add demographic and interest information to our reports. We see this information only in combined form, not as information about you personally.
- Google Fonts and Google Maps — load the fonts and the map shown on the Site. These load whether or not you accept analytics, and they may receive your IP address and basic browser details when the page loads.
Google may use information collected through Google Analytics as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not currently use advertising pixels or run ads that use this information. If we add advertising or other tracking tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where required.
Your choices
- Cookie banner: choose Accept or Decline when you first visit. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. Declining or withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics from loading and deletes the analytics cookies we set.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser or device sends this opt-out signal, we treat it as a Decline.
- Change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Some parts of the Site may work less well if you do.
- Use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Manage Google ad personalization, which affects Google Signals, at adssettings.google.com.
We save your choice in your browser's local storage so we can remember it. It expires after 12 months, and we will ask you again.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as website hosting, CRM, email and text messaging, scheduling, and payment processing providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Analytics provider: if you accept analytics cookies, Google receives the information described in "Cookies & analytics" so it can provide Google Analytics to us. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Crews and subcontractors who need your name, address, and job details to perform your service.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or is needed to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers, if A&D Tree Services LLC is involved in a merger, sale, or reorganization, in which case your information may be transferred to the new owner.
6. Email & text message marketing
If you submit your phone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your request and send you promotions, newsletters, and other marketing messages, including by text message. Consent to marketing is not a condition of buying any goods or services.
- Text messages: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
- Email: use the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email.
- You can also opt out at any time by emailing noe.amaya@adtreeservices.com.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text message opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may still send you messages about your service request after you opt out of marketing.
7. Payments
We plan to accept payments through the Site in the future. When that happens, payments will be handled by third-party payment processors. Your card or bank details will be entered with the processor and handled under its security standards, and we will not store your full card number on the Site. We may receive limited information about the transaction, such as the amount, date, and last four digits of the card.
8. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, run our business, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, or until you ask us to delete it. To request deletion of your records, contact us using the details in "Contact us." We may keep certain information after a deletion request where the law requires it or where we need it to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Data in Google Analytics is kept for no longer than 14 months.
9. Your privacy rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use, and share, and request a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request that we delete your personal information;
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time through Cookie Settings, and opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not currently sell it or share it for advertising);
- withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time; and
- not be treated unfairly for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email noe.amaya@adtreeservices.com with your name, the contact details you used, and what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Site. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites and social media pages, such as our Instagram and Facebook pages. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make material changes, we will take additional steps to notify you where required by law. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
